Admissions

New Horizon seeks students with the potential to benefit from and to succeed in the school’s unique academic and enrichment programs. Students who benefit most from the school are those who are intellectually inquisitive, strongly motivated, and highly committed to the challenges and opportunities the school offers. The school aims to admit students who are capable of handling a strong academic curriculum successfully and happily.

Admission to New Horizon Lower and Middle School, therefore, involves a highly selective process, based upon an entrance examination, transcripts, teacher recommendations, and an interview. Candidates for admission to preschool and pre-Kindergarten are considered on the basis of chronological age and readiness for entry to each level. We look for families whose goals for their children are compatible with the school’s goals.

If you are interested in receiving more information about our school or the admissions process, please fill out our Prospective Student Info form or contact Admissions Assistant,
Aisha El-Shwahyk, at
